Affiliate Domains and Websites for Sale on Affiliate Blogger

Affiliate niche domains for sale

Whether you're an affiliate just getting started and in need of an already built website, or you just need a good domain to get started and can build your own website, you're going to want to consider a big list of affiliate niche domains I've just posted for sale here on Affiliate Blogger.

I speak with newbie affiliates on a daily basis who are struggling to build their own websites on their own because of the costs associated with having them built. In fact, I spent a few hours yesterday helping an affiliate who is also a Marketing Specialist in the affiliate space, and needed help installing a WordPress blog. You know who you are *grin* … and that's what helped me to realize that newbies to coding need a little more help.

So, while I'm only listing the domains I have for sale, if you need a website or blog built and hosted … I'm open to negotiating that with you.  Many of these domains I have up for sale have old websites and affiliate programs that I used in the past. Almost all of these domains have Internet history, meaning it won't be that hard to get the search engines to look at them when you give them a facelift.

If you see a domain you want, make your best offer the first time! I can't stress that enough. I hate haggling. I own a Saturn car … 'nough said.

Is there another of my domains that you're more interested in buying? I'm always open to offers. In my world, everything is for sale if the price is right. Best offer always wins!

How to get an opt-in list on your website?

Autoresponders & Memberships

You can use an autoresponder service such as aweber.com, where your users opt-in and you email them a welcome with a free report attached or give the users the url for the report's download.

Or you can go a notch higher and create a membership site like Viral Sales Generator, where the users opt-in to download the free report and any other downloads you'd like to offer over time.

Of the two, the autoresponder system is cheaper and it's hosted so you don't need your own server/hosting solution. The membership one definately allows you to build more of a community with your opt-ins and allows them to spread the word for you about what you're doing.

Of the two, I use Viral Sales Generator and I recommend the use of aweber … a lot of affiliates use it.

Content for Affiliate Websites

Joining solid affiliate programs is a good start. But the affiliate program is usually only going to give you banner ads and text ads … most don't provide the content part.

Here's my advice, do a search on "free rewrite articles." Pick an article repository, go there, search on your keywords … not sure what they are for you, but an example would be "music" … be as specific in the keywords as you can. Music might be too general.

Grab yourself some articles. You must publish articles with the author's signature at the bottom. Give credit for the content where credit is due.

Now, keep yourself out of trouble with Google. You have to write some content too. You need to have about 20-40% of the content on the page be unique. On every page!

So, if I were you I'd write a few paragraphs about the article's topic, maybe getting a little focused on the keywords you're going for on that page. Definately use your keywords as the anchor text for the affiliate program's links.

Meaning, if you're talking about electric guitars on a page and have an article on electric guitars, then in the part you write, link the words "electric guitars" to the affiliate program's link to their electric guitars. See?

You can't touch the content of the author's article. It's a matter of honor on that reguard. It's your way of valuing that author giving you free content.

Basically, you're writing an intro to the article and you need to make a clear distinction between what you're writing and what the other guy wrote. This should resolve your content issues for now.

It's a lot of work, but that's how it's done. Dig in!

Currently, I don't offer any one-on-one tutoring at Affiliate Guild … yet! If you guys think that's something I should do sooner rather than later, then let me know. I would have to charge a fee, but I also could keep it reasonable. Affiliate Guild has a complete school already in place, so it's not that hard to do.

You might have read my posts about the Affiliate Marketers Bootcamp. Taking this course is really helping me to be more aware of what the newer affiliate's needs are. It's all information I already know, but it's always good to hear it again. I'll be blogging and posting about things I think could benefit others. Maybe some of that will help you as well?!

Rich Jerk Gets A Smackdown by 63 Year Old Woman

Okay, I think this hilarious myself. I could have blogged about this under SEO topics, but at this point it's gone into the That's Too Funny category.

You guys know who the Rich Jerk is right? Well, maybe not who he is, but you know of him. In fact, Linda Buquet blogged about him not too long ago … http://affiliate-blogs.5staraffiliateprograms.com/2006/09/11/rich-jerk-cj/

If you've been following the presentations put out recently by Andy Jenkins and Brad Fallon (two SEO experts with good basic SEO tips for everyone), then you're in the know about the things they've been teaching. If you haven't been following, then here's a link to get started … http://www.stomperblog.com.

At any rate, Brady and Andy have released a few videos teaching some basic SEO, and I guess the Rich Jerk is taking all the credit for their SEO knowledge. And, apparently Rich Jerk is taking credit for Sydney Johnston's SEO rankings as well.

Sydney is the 63 year old woman who signed on with Brady and Andy with regard to her eBay business. I guess when she got wind of the Rich Jerk's comments … she made her own video.

I think it's pretty funny … gotta love a good cat fight amoungst the SEOers. :D

Here's the link to Sydney's video: http://www.convertlinks.com/smackdown.html

This thing is just heating up! Enjoy!!!

Widgets for WordPress

When I found myself asking … What is a WordPress Widget? I discovered a cool website called Automattic that had some right-on information on widgets expressly for use in WordPress blogs.

According to the folks at Automattic…

“Widgets” is just a silly buzzword we’ve chosen for this sidebar-chopping plug-in we have developed. They could have been called Gadgets or Gizmos or Wizbangs or Whatevers. On the surface, they’re just things you can use to personalize your WordPress site without knowing HTML. Way down deep, they may be something entirely more significant.

I thought that was one of the coolest descriptions for widgets I've come across. So, I wanted to share their website with you because it also has information and tips on how to use widgets, widget themes, widget plugins, etc. and all for your WordPress blog.

Widgets are fast becoming a vital tool for affiliate marketers, so get yourself educated. Spend a day with a widget, you just might enjoy yourself.

Media Kits All The Rage

Media Kits are popping up everywhere these days … they're baaack!

Used to be, back in the day, that everyone had a media kit on their business website. Then, for some odd reason they went away. I guess with the added presure by the search engines to provide unique content, we're seeing a reinvention of media kits.

I just came across another one today, and I'll share it with you:

AffiliatePrograms.com gets a new mediakit facelift created by WhiteCap Studios, who also gave their website a re-do earlier in the year. Under the guidance of Dave Cole at AffiliatePrograms.com, WhiteCap created a new media kit section for the AffiliatePrograms' flagship site. AffiliatePrograms.com is a paid resource for affiliate recruitment, communication, and retention.

Media Kits are certainly something to consider adding to your online business to attract additional attention, and it's always a great resource for any sales team.

Starting Out With Affiliate Programs

Lets start with an important fact. Though you can earn from affiliate marketing even without the benefit of having your own website, it is still a much better option that you get one. A website is the anchor of your work at home business. It will be easier to promote your business and products or affiliate products if you have your own pages in cyber space.

We have previously discussed the basics of creating your own website and optimizing the same for the search engines.

Text Link Ads

In this article, were going to tackle some initial steps you should take in securing an enrollment to an affiliate program and in ensuring that it will be a profitable enterprise. Study these steps carefully.

* Choose the right affiliate program as covered in last weeks article.

* Enroll for the said program. Keep in mind that before you can be a part of this work at home business, you must first opt-in, or verify your application, through your email.

* Once enrolled, you will be given access to a website where you must log in. Do not forget your login details.

* You will see the list of the affiliate merchants products inside. You will be given the option to choose a product for which a campaign will be launched. Once a product is chosen, you will be furnished an affiliate link. Do not lose this affiliate link!

With your affiliate link at hand, its time to move to the next level!

Your affiliate link is what will tell the affiliate programs system that a purchaser was referred by you. Your pre-sells that end up becoming successful sales are actually coursed through your affiliate links, thus informing the affiliate program that commissions are due to you.

It is quite evident then that affiliate marketing as a work at home business is all about persuading a potential customer to at least check out the affiliate merchants products through your affiliate link. The reason why affiliate marketing is called, well, marketing is because you need some promotional strategies to induce a person to become a purchaser.

We will discuss these marketing strategies in the next article.

The success of an enrollment with an affiliate program as a work at home business depends on the amount of commitment and effort you invest in the same. Being an affiliate, you must remember, is an online job, but a job nonetheless. You cannot just sit down and let this home business earn for you, at least, not initially.

Eventually however, you should be able to automate most of the process by installing some tools for a self-sufficient system of your own. We will cover this thoroughly in subsequent articles.

Google Stomps the Guru of StomperNet

Brad Fallon says, StomperNet has exceeded my wildest expectations. At $800 a month to join the StomperNet, that has got to be some nice return on investment for Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins.

The recent release of the StomperNet program was heavily monitored by the SEO and Affiliate Marketing communities … and apparently by Google as well.

In the early releases of their promotional videos for StomperNet, Brad Fallon used his own business website … myweddingfavors.com … as an example of how successful the StomperNet methods can be if followed. Brad brought a lot of traffic and attention to his business website for sure, but he might have also captured the attention of Google.

Google recently updated their Page Rank algorythms and shook up the internet business world yet again, and guess what?! Brad Fallon's myweddingfavors.com is no longer in the top 10 for its keywords wedding favors … not sure it's even in the top 50!

Now Brad and Andy say they don't use black hat techniques at all, and myweddingfavors.com had a ton of backlinks which Google should like as much as a flea likes dogs. So, if myweddingfavors.com followed all the Google rules … why did it get the G-boot?

Google punishes websites for no apparent reasons and of course, they will never tell you why they do what they do. I noticed they pulled all my PR on my blogs, but I've chalked that up to the price I have to pay for switching servers because I only use white hat techniques with my blogs.

Just like Brad and Andy, I'll never know for sure because Google is just a steamroller in the world of search. You know, they say affiliate marketing will be a bigger player than search in the next few years … the question is, do we take Google along for that ride too?
