Affiliate Internet Marketing i-MarketingOrganizer

Jude Wright might be on of the most unorganized affiliate marketers, but not anymore. Jude's been working in Internet Marketing for a lot of years. Don't worry Jude, I won't say how many!

As a basically unorganized person, Jude admits, "I was losing everything! I needed a solution to help me find the information that I wrote on slips of paper, kept in notebooks and saved in emails. I wanted to find that information fast!"

An old hand at creating databases for the construction industry, Jude turned her attentions to making one for Internet Marketing too.

The result is a MUST have application for Affiliate Marketers called i-MarketingOrganizer.

The Version 1 software application is the result of Jude's real world experiences in Affiliate Internet Marketing, lots of research, and hard work. i-MarketingOrganizer works beautifully!

Personally, I can't even begin to tell you how valuable a little application this is. Imagine having all your affiliate program account information at your fingertips 24/7 … imagine having all you passwords and usernames waiting for you on your desktop every time you need them … and most importantly, imagine finding any of them in seconds.

No more scraps of paper or notebooks filled with scribbles. Welcome to the enlightened age of Affiliate Marketing … welcome to the world of i-MarketingOrganizer.

Google Stomps the Guru of StomperNet

Brad Fallon says, StomperNet has exceeded my wildest expectations. At $800 a month to join the StomperNet, that has got to be some nice return on investment for Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins.

The recent release of the StomperNet program was heavily monitored by the SEO and Affiliate Marketing communities … and apparently by Google as well.

In the early releases of their promotional videos for StomperNet, Brad Fallon used his own business website … myweddingfavors.com … as an example of how successful the StomperNet methods can be if followed. Brad brought a lot of traffic and attention to his business website for sure, but he might have also captured the attention of Google.

Google recently updated their Page Rank algorythms and shook up the internet business world yet again, and guess what?! Brad Fallon's myweddingfavors.com is no longer in the top 10 for its keywords wedding favors … not sure it's even in the top 50!

Now Brad and Andy say they don't use black hat techniques at all, and myweddingfavors.com had a ton of backlinks which Google should like as much as a flea likes dogs. So, if myweddingfavors.com followed all the Google rules … why did it get the G-boot?

Google punishes websites for no apparent reasons and of course, they will never tell you why they do what they do. I noticed they pulled all my PR on my blogs, but I've chalked that up to the price I have to pay for switching servers because I only use white hat techniques with my blogs.

Just like Brad and Andy, I'll never know for sure because Google is just a steamroller in the world of search. You know, they say affiliate marketing will be a bigger player than search in the next few years … the question is, do we take Google along for that ride too?

DoubleClick Buys Klipmart

Zachary Rodgers, from clickz news, delivered an interesting blurb on the recent DoubleClick acquisition of video ad specialist Klipmart. DoubleClick will combine the company's technology and services with its own DART Motif rich media platform. The deal, for which terms were not disclosed, brings DoubleClick a step closer to being an end-to-end solution for rich media advertising. Klipmart ranks among the more sophisticated providers of video production services, an area where Motif is historically weak.

According to Rodgers, Klipmart should benefit from DoubleClick's democratic appeal to marketers, who for budgetary reasons may previously have shied away from the video vendor's reputation for high-end deployments.

With the acquisition, DoubleClick now employs 100 in rich media. In its announcement, the company said it will soon launch an "Innovation Lab" focused on taking video to multiple digital platforms.

Chris Young, Klipmart's CEO, will become EVP of rich media for DoubleClick, reporting directly to CEO David Rosenblatt. Klipmart co-founders Tristan Amzallag and Maria Klink will join DoubleClick's product management and service teams.

Klipmart is known for creating smooth user experiences for in-stream and in-page video ads, and for providing good customer service to agencies and advertisers. The company pioneered full-screen expansion of video ads, and publishes all video in multiple codecs to maximize the addressable audience.

"Klipmart has a superb reputation of creative video innovation and service," said David Rosenblatt, CEO of DoubleClick, in a statement. "Combining these strengths with DoubleClick's industry leadership, insight and global ad management platform will truly accelerate industry innovation in digital video and emerging advertising formats."

Klipmart's products will continue to be offered independently of DART, the companies said.

Klipmart was represented in the deal by The Jordan, Edmiston Group, a New York-based investment bank specializing in the media and information industries.

Affiliate Bootcamp Reviewed

Affiliate Marketers Bootcamp is taught by James Martell, and let me say that it is a good class for the very new to Affiliate Marketing. If you don't know how to make web pages, if you don't know how to do web hosting, if you're not a good writer or good at making graphics … then, this is the class for you.

James shows his students how to do all of these things and how to find the people who do it, if you don't. He shows his students some tools that make it possible for a complete newbie to step into the publishing world on the Internet.

For me it was the distinction that James made clear, that he is teaching "publishing" and not "web design" that really drove home the difference between James and myself. James is a web publisher, who has learned some skills about web design through the years. I am a webmaster and a web publisher, so for me some of what James had to say would not equate to my world-view on Affiliate Marketing … but makes perfect sense in his world.

Affiliate Bootcamp had a heavy emphasis on Google ads with some affiliate programs tossed in. I had hoped there would have been more on the affiliate program side of things, but maybe that's left for an advanced class someday. Datafeeds were explained only in so much as to what one does on your website, not how to actually do it. I definitely see this as advanced information that would have been too much for this group of students.

One of the best things James did was to help these newbies understand how to make quality websites that would also convert fairly well. For most of those people, that information was worth the price of admission.

Although I was good in class and kept my mouth shut, I deeply disagreed with James on the topic of SEO. James teaches his students not to have anything to do with SEO, and that means that if they need a writer, they are to find someone who writes without SEO in mind. I don't think there are enough words for me to use to express how much I disagree with that, but considering that I was in a class with mostly newbies … I'll just express my difference of opinion on that one here.

James, if you read this … please chime in and explain why. If I understand your logic, it's basically that a well written article will do the trick without the SEO considerations; what to speak of a room filled with newbies that would only be confused by the whole SEO game.

James gave these newbies a lot of resources to go get tools and content, again that alone was worth the price of admission because he saved them years of finding out this stuff the hard way.

The classroom environment James uses is state-of-the-art and very user friendly. I do wish James had allowed us to chat more before and after classes. I also wish we could have sent each other private messages. He had all those features turned off. It could have been a great opportunity for networking of services and cross-links, but it didn't happen. Shame.

Did James reveal all his tricks? Did he reveal all the good stuff? No, I'm sure he didn't. The advanced Affiliate Marketing knowledge is still something that's yet to peek out from the safe hold. Not too many super affiliates are going to reveal how they do their thing.

James knows far more than what he shared, but his Affiliate Marketers Bootcamp is a solid series of classes for the base beginner. I will recommend it and I'm glad I went through it myself. It was a good review and good for me to see how green the new guys really are.

James Martell's Affiliate Marketers Handbook

James Martell's Affiliate Buzz

I enjoyed James Martell a lot. He's a down to earth family man with a dream, a goal and a purpose. He shares his knowledge in ways that allow you to have glimpses into his world. So, he's not afraid for you to get a sense of him. I found his teaching style to be caring and sincere. James is definately not afraid to give you his opinion on things. So, for the newbie students who seek his knowledge, James is a real find for them.
You know another thing I liked about James is that he doesn't spam my email box like some marketers do. His messages are clear and to-the-point. He only sends emails periodically when he has something new to share. I appreciate that a lot and so do most affiliates.
The level of student support I received was exceptional. As a student, me emails were answered in a very timely manner … for which I thank Arlene Martell, his wife. Students were guided every step of the journey through emails and timely autoresponders.
In closing, I'd like to thank the Martell's (and LinkConnector who sponsored me) for allowing me into the Affiliate Marketer's Bootcamp classes. It confirmed for me some of what I do as an affiliate, and I think I will walk away from the experience with some very nice friends and new-found business relationships. Now, let's look to the future!

    Making Money from Blogging

One of the biggest questions being asked by bloggers these days is, how do I make money with my blog?

What these bloggers are searching for is what the affiliate marketing people call monitization. Which loosley translates to … how I make money with any property I have on the Internet.

While thinking about this topic, I decided to do a little research and see what others were saying on the topic of bloggers making money blogging. I came across a nice piece byDarren Rowae at proBlogger.net. He's one of the first bloggers I've seen realize that there's a whole advertising world outside of Google.

Making money from blogging is a topic I plan on dedicating a lot of energy too, so for now I'm going to leave you wanting more and let you have chance to go read Darren's thoughts on the topic. It's an excellent read.

Affiliate Domains and Websites for Sale on Affiliate Blogger

    Affiliate niche domains for sale

Whether you're an affiliate just getting started and in need of an already built website, or you just need a good domain to get started and can build your own website, you're going to want to consider a big list of affiliate niche domains I've just posted for sale here on Affiliate Blogger.

I speak with newbie affiliates on a daily basis who are struggling to build their own websites on their own because of the costs associated with having them built. In fact, I spent a few hours yesterday helping an affiliate who is also a Marketing Specialist in the affiliate space, and needed help installing a WordPress blog. You know who you are *grin* … and that's what helped me to realize that newbies to coding need a little more help.

So, while I'm only listing the domains I have for sale, if you need a website or blog built and hosted … I'm open to negotiating that with you.  Many of these domains I have up for sale have old websites and affiliate programs that I used in the past. Almost all of these domains have Internet history, meaning it won't be that hard to get the search engines to look at them when you give them a facelift.

If you see a domain you want, make your best offer the first time! I can't stress that enough. I hate haggling. I own a Saturn car … 'nough said.

Is there another of my domains that you're more interested in buying? I'm always open to offers. In my world, everything is for sale if the price is right. Best offer always wins!

    Nielsen NetRatings Changes Metrics

Tomorrow, Nielsen/NetRatings will announce that they are no longer judging the popularity of web sites based on the number of page views. Instead, Nielsen will use a different metric, rating popularity by how much time visitors spend at a site.

You, the web user, drove this change, through the software you prefer and the way you use the web. And most importantly . . . with your interest in watching online video.

One of the biggest trends is the movement towards more use of interactive video.

I've found an awesome tool called Screen Show Pro and it's an inexpensive screen capture tool similar to Camista. I'm using Screen Show Pro to build my interactive videos for my various Internet businesses.

After I made my videos, I joined the new interactive video community site called FreeIQ. It's free to join and gives both a venue to distribute your videos, as well as your products, services and affiliate links.

FreeIQ is full of helpful and informative educational materials and products … many of which are for free.

Visit my FreeIQ website … http://freeiq.com/bobbiegrennier to learn more as the Internet is quickly moving towards a video rich world and you need to be a part of it to be successful.

The use of sites like FreeIQ, are changing the media landscape. Your propensity to spend time interacting with the web via video and other new forms of media makes the time you spend a much more authoritative judge of a website's popularity than the number of pages you view.
